Clear and concise pictures will help us provide you with a faster, more accurate assessment. See our guide below for some pointers on what will help us help you the most.

Some general points to keep in mind

  • Ensure the piece is well lit, preferably with natural light, before you take the photo

  • Hold measuring tape or place a ruler on damaged areas to provide perspective on its size

  • Take photos front and back if damage has passed through an object

  • Provide photos of manufacturer marks, product numbers, branding, etc if available or visible

  • If in doubt, more is better than less when it comes to photos!
